The Rev. Marc Vance graduated seminary from the University of the South in Sewanee, TN, in 1997. Before coming to St. Andrew's in March 2020, he served parishes in Kansas City, MO, Melbourne, FL, and Columbus, IN. Marc shares the rector's passion for pastoral care, Christian formation, and issues of social justice, as well as for our Eucharistic services being central to our self-understanding as a community of faith. He has also been involved at the diocesan level for the bulk of his career, having served as camp chaplain, on a camp board, and Commission on Ministry, among others, and currently working on the Repairing the Breach committee, the development of a diocesan Confirmation process, and the Peninsula Ministry Partnership.
