Marathon Sunday
Sunday, March 2, 4 PM
On March 2, the One City Marathon goes right down Main Street! Very exciting - but it means that our usual morning worship services can't be held due to road closures. On Marathon Sunday we'll have one service at 4 PM.

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper
March 4, 5:30 to 6:30 PM
Join us on Tuesday, March 4, for a night of fun and PANCAKES! It’s the tradition we all love—Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper. It’s a chance to kick up your heels before Lent kicks off. Dinner is 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Cost is $5 per person, $20 max per family.

Ash Wednesday
March 5
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent. Begin your observance of a holy Lent with one of our Ash Wednesday services, 7:30 AM, 11:00 AM, and 7:00 PM. 

Ash Wednesday Services for children
March 5 at 9 AM and 4 PM
On Ash Wednesday, March 5, join us at 9 AM and again at 4 PM for a very brief and casual Ash Wednesday service for children in our St. Nicholas Chapel.

Holy Eucharist on Wednesdays in Lent
As a part of your Lenten observance consider joining us for Holy Eucharist at 11:00 AM on the Wednesdays in Lent (March 12, 19, 26, April 2, 9, 16).

Lenten Series: Celebrating the Disciplines“
Weds, Mar. 12 - Apr. 9, 5:30 dinner, 6:00 program
Superficiality is the curse of our age,” says Richard Foster, author of Celebrating the Disciplines, which is the basis for our Lenten study this year.  Foster notes that, “The doctrine of instant gratification is a spiritual problem,” but “the classical spiritual disciplines of the spiritual life call us to move beyond surface living into the depths.”  Spiritual discipline, however, is not “dull drudgery,” but rather is characterized by joy because, by placing ourselves before God, the disciplines allow transformation of the inner spirit. Beginning on Wednesday, March 12, and continuing on Wednesdays through April 9, we will gather for a simple meal beginning at 5:30 pm with program from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.

Centering Prayer
Centering prayer groups meet on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. and Thursday mornings at 7:30 a.m. All are welcome, no matter your level of experience with centering prayer practice. Contact David Lilley for more information. 

Games in the Senior Lounge
Thursdays, 1 to 3 PM
Join us for canasta and other games every Thursday from 1 to 3 PM - or just come and hang out, enjoy some good fun and conversation! All are welcome!
