Intergenerational Advent Wreath Workshop November 24, 12 PMJoin us after church on Sunday, Nov. 24, in the parish hall where each household will make an Advent wreath to take home. This activity will be suitable for all ages, and you are encouraged to participate whether or not there are small children in your home. Having an Advent wreath helps guide home prayer and adds to the joyful anticipation of Advent. Light refreshments will be served. While all the materials for the wreaths will be provided, we are asking for cash donations to help offset costs. We're also asking for greenery donations: if you have evergreens in your yard (fir, cedar, holly, etc) that you can trim and donate, please bring them to church between 8 AM and 4 PM Mon-Thur the week prior to the event. Thank you!

The St. Andrew's Outreach Fund will cover the remaining cost. However, if you would like to contribute to this project, we would be very grateful! Checks can be made out to St. Andrew’s with “Downtown Christmas” on the memo line. The gift bags will be assembled on Monday, Dec. 9, at 10 AM in the parish hall. Bridge comes to Senior Game Day! Beginning Jan. 9, 1 PMBeginning on Thursday, January 9, 2025, we will be adding Bridge to our Senior Lounge games. To learn the game for those who are beginners and to play for those who know the game, we will need tables of four. We are starting off with the “old way” of playing where you should have 13 points to open, a two-bid means you have 19 to 22 points, and four no-trumps means you are asking you partner how many queens they have! Normally we don’t ask you to let us know you are coming; however, we think we need do that for Bridge so that we can set up the number of tables we need. If you would like to join us, please contact the parish office by Monday, January 6. Our other games will continue in the Senior Lounge. You should come sometime and be challenged with a new version of UNO – the competition is fierce!
