Women of the Word
Wednesdays, April 17 - May 22, 3:30 to 5 PM
Women of the Word will begin a new study will be based on the book Glory Days, Trusting in the God who fights for You, by Max Lucado. The book will guide us through the adventures of Joshua who led the army of the Jewish nation into the Promise Land after the death of Moses. Max Lucado always brings the Bible stories to life with writing that is inspiring, interesting, and sometimes amusing. The class will meet Wednesdays, April 17 through May 13 (or May 22, from 3:30 to 5:00 PM in the parish library. Book can be purchased on Amazon or Christianbook.com. Gloria Brooks is willing to assist you with that. WOW welcomes any women who would like to be a part of this group which has met for about 25 years. Parish (indoor) Picnic & Recognition Sunday
June 2, 10:30 AM service, 11:45 AM picnic
At the 10:30 AM service on Sunday, June 2, at which we will recognize those volunteers who have led our Christian education offerings for children and adults in the last year, our acolytes, as well as our high school and college graduates.  The service will be followed by an indoor picnic in the parish hall (so you may dress informally for the service!).  The church will provide fried and gluten free chicken for the picnic.  You are asked to bring a salad, side, or dessert to share that is table-ready and not in need of heating or baking.  Please drop these off in the parish hall before you go to the service. We will need volunteers to: help us set up the parish hall on Saturday, June 1, at 1:00 PM; receive food items on Sunday, June 2, beginning at 10:00 AM; serve the chicken; clean up after the picnic. To volunteer, please contact the church office no later than Wednesday, May 29. In order to know how much chicken to order, please RSVP to the church office no later than noon on Tuesday, May 28.

Parish Fun Night: Bingo and Hot Dogs!
June 26, 5:30 - 8:00 PM
Our 2nd annual hotdog supper and Bingo Fun Night for all ages will be on Wednesday, June 26, beginning at 5:30 PM in the parish hall.  Not only will there be individual Bingo winners, there will also be a winning table!  Reservations will be required and are limited to the first 100 persons who RSVP.  While this is an event for the whole family, children must be 8 years of age to have their own Bingo card.  We encourage younger children to be partners with a family member. To make this happen, we need your help: cooking committee, set-up committee, bingo prize table committee, clean-up committee. Please call the church office by Wednesday, June 5 to volunteer.

Centering Prayer
Centering prayer groups meet on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. and Thursday mornings at 7:30 a.m. All are welcome, no matter your level of experience with centering prayer practice. Contact David Lilley for more information. 

Games in the Senior Lounge
Thursdays, 1 to 3 PM
Join us for canasta and other games every Thursday from 1 to 3 PM - or just come and hang out, enjoy some good fun and conversation! All are welcome!

Crafters Group
Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. in the Parish Library
Bring your knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, or other craft, and enjoy this creative time of fellowship.
